Marie Mireille Delisme was born in Léogane on November 17, 1965.

She learned beading techniques while working in a factory making wedding dresses from 1986.

One evening the virgin comes to visit her in a dream. She tells her that she must start working on her own and making flags in honor of the voodoo gods.

Her first flag is a portrait of Erzulie Mapiangue.
She learned to make Drapo Vodou from Myrlande Constant, and the two remain friends today. Approaching Constant in the quality of her work, Delice is ambitious, daring, and determined. Her flags express secular as well as Vodou themes, and range in mood from reverent to playful to erotic. She has recently begun to attract significant attention from collectors around the United States, as well as major media outlets, including the Miami Herald.

Her flags are permanently exhibited in Haiti at Galerie Monnin, Kay Artisans and Men Nou.

Her work has been exhibited several times abroad; USA, Switzerland, France.

She lives with her husband and three children in a residential area of Port-au-Prince.
